Baby dreams IVF for Renee & Andee

Dearest friends,

            They say it takes a village to raise a child and in this case a village can bring a child into the world. Renee and Andee have been going against the grain since they fell in love at a sushi restaurant in 2010. Their wedding to follow was something out of a storybook.  Upon meeting they were overwhelmed by feelings of love, compassion, acceptance and friendship. They would fight for their love to be recognized by the law for years to come and finally win this basic human right.  After overcoming many obstacles together, Andee and Renee’s dream of growing their family remains their heart's desire.

                     The road towards fertility can be a wicked and twisted one, filled with lots of heartache and disappointment. After 5 attempts with the most minimally invasive procedure, IUI, Renee is not yet pregnant.  As you can imagine, the cost adds up quickly and has added immeasurable stress.  Renee's physician has confirmed that she is healthy and a perfect candidate for IVF (In Vetro Fertilization.) 

        They both have humble, community serving carriers that let their true colors shine bright, but the $12,000 price tag of IVF has made them wonder if they will be allowed this precious gift. For those of you who know Renee and Andee, you know what amazing parents they would be! Everything about Renee is maternal; from the way she talks to children and plays with children, to her career as a play therapist. She has been a part of raising many other family's children for the last 17 years, and dreams of having one of her own.  Andee is the perfect counterpart to Renee. She has a calm and steady strength to her that is well suited for motherhood. She has a subtle sense of making people feel safe and at ease, and kids are naturally drawn to her.   I speak for their friends and family in saying we have all watched in amazement the love and natural maternal abilities both  these ladies possess.  This unborn baby is already loved and waiting to be adored by us all.

           With your donations, we will be able to chip in and make this already extremely loved child a living, breathing, precious bundle of reality! Let us show Renee and Andee what real love is by coming together to be there for our friends.  We are so very blessed to know and love them, and would be honored to pass this blessing along. We all know that many people coming together with one goal, however small the contribution, can yield great results.
