You may or may not know my dear friend since childhood, Renee. This past spring, Renee was diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer was diagnosed just as her marriage of 20 years had recently come to an end. For those of you who are fortunate enough to know her, you would agree with me that her heart is filled with loving-kindness. She has always been the first person in line to help friends, aquaintances and even strangers when in need. She truly has a heart of Gold. Now with her increasing medical costs accruing, along with the costs of raising two teenage girls, this single Mom is struggling to make ends meet. This amazing mother, friend and person will turn Fifty this year. I would love for you to join me in making this milestone birthday even more special for her. I am confident that Renee has the inner strength and courage to conquer this cancer, but I feel the financial burden is taking its toll on her .
