As many of you know, (and if you know Jenn, you already know this has taken over her life!) - Jenn's beloved goldendoodle, Ripley has an "issue."  

This "issue" involves vets, vet hospitals, UTIs- both cured and ongoing, a variety of meds from the homeopathic to the pathic pathic, approximately 197 disposable and/or cloth diapers, 197 tail holes cut in said diapers, 22 million "lady-area" baths, 3 plastic mattress covers and 2 "Customer Of The Month" awards at Jenn's local laundromat! Not to mention to booze for the human... OH!... And a super expensive bladder sphincter repair surgery to cure Ripley's spontaneous incontinence. While incontinence is not unusual in senior pups, Ripley is only 6. And 6 year olds (canine or human) should be out of diapers!  

So, while there are many causes in the world that need your donations - Jenn hadn't budgeted for a $5000 repair for Ripley's bladder sphincter (on top of the several thousand she has spent trying to get to the bottom of this) and so all of us who know and love these 2 girls are trying to help. You may not need reminding, but Jenn is a dog lover who volunteers with a local rescue, is active in the dog community here in Astoria, is there for us when we need her and is now in need of our help. Ripley is her beloved dog, who has acted as foster sister to many needy pups, loves the dog community here in Astoria and hates diapers. 

 
Since so many folks have expressed wanting to help, I felt this was the best way! All funds - 100% -  will go towards Ripley's surgery and recovery costs.  If there happen to be any extra monies, they will be donated to Jenn and Ripley's favorite rescue, Friends With Four Paws!
