Someday Wish and Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

This was such a special day to our family. Not only was it the day I married my best friend of almost 20 years, but also the day my courageous mom walked me down the aisle. Battling cancer has taken its toll on this beautiful, strong, and loving woman.

My name is Jen Marble and my mom Robin has been battling stage III uterine cancer for the past 2 years. In February, of 2014, she had a total hysterectomy with the removal of 28 lymph nodes. Due to complications with the Lymphadenectomy, she ended up having the main nerve in her quad muscle severed. This has caused the muscle to atrophy. During her chemo treatments, she ended up having an allergic reaction and would have to slow down her doses. Throughout the 6 grueling months, which included 9 to 10 hour treatment sessions, she only missed just over a week of work.

In January of 2016, she went to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in Arizona, to receive radiation on a large tumor. She went through treatment every day, with weekends off, for 8 weeks. Since returning to Billings in April, she has been in and out of the hospital due to radiation complications. Due to her extended illness she was unable to keep her job of over 4 years as Assistant Maintenance at Fox Meadows Apartments. She has been struggling to get around and has lost a lot of her independence.

On Sept 1st, we received her CT results only to find her cancer has spread to other organs and she is now on hospice. Her doctor told her to make a someday list. “Someday I want too”…her somedays are now

For her "Someday Wish" she would like to rent a Motorhome and drive to Minnesota as our last family trip. She would like to say goodbye to her mom and dad. She hasn’t seen my grandparents in 3 years. My 93 year old grandpa is currently in hospice with lung cancer. She would also like to go eat at her favorite restaurant in Hibbing, The Sportsman’s, and say goodbye to her good friend. Then she would like to drive to Lake Vermillion to rent a houseboat and spend the night on the lake. She has always wanted to sleep on the lake!

My mom is an amazingly strong woman and I completely admire her courage with life and this battle with a horrible cancer. I would really like our family to be able to make this last memory together and give my beautiful mother her “Someday Wish”. Please like and share with all of your friends and family to help us give her and us a great last memory.
