Life saving insulin pump
Donation protected
At the fresh age of 4 yrs old, Everett was taken to the ER where upon arrival he was in DKA- "Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a life-threatening condition that develops when cells in the body are unable to get the sugar (glucose) they need for energy because there is not enough insulin." (WebMD) Everett received a life long diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. There he spent 4 days in ICU while his body got back to where it needed to be and his parents and family learned how to give him doses of life saving insulin.
A pump for our guy means:
less finger pricks
less shots
all day and night glucose reading
insulin delivery on sight without a shot (shots are very stressful for him)
Night time sleep security (his parents wake up multiple times a night to read his blood making sure he does not fall into a diabetic coma. Sometimes he is in need of a correction shot when his levels are high.)
Plus so many more daily benefits!
Please help us reach our goal in getting Everett a life saving, life changing pump!
Thank you for your care and donation❤️
