Support Teddy's Journey to Mobility

We are raising money for a van for Teddy that we could convert eventually into a wheelchair accessible van with Medicaids help hopefully. Unfortunately, medicaid cannot help with purchase of a van but can help with van conversions.

Teddy is now 13 and 97 pounds and almost 5 ft tall. We currently have a sedan and it has officially become too hard to get him in and out of the car into his large car seat safely. We also must take apart and put back together his wheelchair for each ride we take him on to go somewhere. Teddy is completely dependent on us for every part of his care and cannot sit up on his own or hold his head up. This has been extremely difficult and a struggle. The reason we are asking for the specific amount is so we could get a decent vehicle that would last him a bit. We hate asking, and didn't want to but we feel very stuck at the moment. we were blessed for a wheelchair accessible van a few years ago but it broke down and stopped working not too long after.

Teddy's dad (Teddy Jr.) has hurt his arm multiple times lifting him in and out of the car and we fear how we will get him to places now. I have also reached out to different fundraising grants with no luck so far. I want to reach out to local businesses, and I will be selling fundraising items on a Printify shop to help. If you could help or know anyone who might be willing please let me know. I also am working to help raise funds but will pick up side gigs to help towards our goal.
