Celebrating The Life of Ron Quintero

"The most successful people in every profession are those that love their work and are passionate about it. Anything you do in life son, do it with passion.
When you make love with you partner, do it with passion.
When you pursue a career, do it with passion.
When you play any sports growing up, do it with passion.
When you study & learn, do it with passion”
-Ron Quintero
Ron Quintero was a larger than life personality. It is going to be nearly impossible to explain him to people I meet in the future because his energy was such a part of who he was. He loved having people together, especially when it came to welcoming people into his own home to cook for them and make them feel part of the family. He lived for his family, his children, and to inspire others to grow. Since his passing I have been able to witness so many stories and testimonies of how many lives my dad changed that I wish so badly he would have been able to hear. Everyone’s words of love, support, and memories have comforted my family in so many ways.
My daddy was far from traditional and did nothing "half-ass". Because of the abundance of responses and love that have been pouring in from so many people that have been effected by his life, we would like to open this up to more people than my brother and I anticipated. This is why Tyler and I wish to honor his life's impact by having a celebration that everyone can participate in. My vision is to have a service at a venue in Downtown San Diego that could accommodate at least 200 people on March 31st to have loved ones speak of his memories, share photos, perform his favorite music, and reminisce on his life.
Any contributions big or small would be much appreciated to help with the following:
- A venue in Downtown San Diego to host approx. 200 people. I know a lot of people want to honor his life and he was born & died in SD and he would want to be celebrated there.
- Audio / Visual coordinator to compile all the photos into a slideshow and help with setting up audio for those speaking
- Lots of roses of different colors, my dad loved his rose garden he made
Thank you and I love you all,
Tyler & Jordin
