The Ron Gilmore recovery fund

Yesterday during our family reunion my uncle, Ron Gilmore, suffered a traumatic injury. While playing with his niece, he dove into the pool and hit the bottom, breaking his neck. He was taken to Saint Mary’s Medical Center and will remain there for treatment. It’s a complete miracle that he is alive and will be able to walk (after surgery)!! However, it will still be a long recovery. He is scheduled for surgery later this week and we are unsure how long he will have to stay at the hospital afterwards.

We ask everyone to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. He won’t be able to work for a while and this accident is already difficult enough that we are hoping to ease any financial issues that may arise. He is an extremely lucky man and we are so grateful that he will pull through this. Any bit of help you can offer would be appreciated, even if it is just sharing this story. Thank you so much!
