Please help me have more than a short 18 years with my dad.

Hello, my name is Cole Johnson, and I am the son of Ron and Rachel Johnson. My dad, Ron Johnson, had a double lung transplant 7 years ago on September 14th, 2017. It was a very difficult surgery, and it was very very hard on me and my mom. Not only was it almost impossible to afford, but we had to live in the hospital with him for about 3 months. He had his transplant out of Chicago, which is 4 hours away from where we live, so going back and forth every day isn’t really an option. But my father is a fighter, so am I and my mother. It was rough but we made it through. Now my father is currently experiencing chronic rejection and is being faced with a very short and limited time left to live. His body has finally realized the lungs aren’t his, and his body is attacking his lungs. His lungs are now permanently damaged, and he is getting worse by the day. He only has one option now, and that is to get another double lung transplant. My father is 63, and some people may consider that old, but my father still has the heart of a child and he is far from being ready to die. He is ready to start the process of having another double lung transplant. But we need help. My family hates asking for help, and normally family/friends will come and ask us for help, but we can’t do this on our own again. We don’t have the money to afford this transplant, me and my mom can’t work while he’s having the transplant because we’re gonna be living in Chicago with him while he’s undergoing this surgery. I’m so sorry to ask for help, but we’re scared, this is the most helpless we’ve ever felt. I’m not ready to let my father go, my mother isn't ready to let her husband go, and my father is not ready to leave us alone in this terrifying world. Not to mention that my father isn’t ready to leave his 3 older daughters, his brothers, and his 13 grandchildren. Any help at all would be appreciated so much, any donation we receive will go to my father’s surgery/treatment, gas, and food. My father has the chance to live anywhere from 5 to 10 years or more, but he won’t have this opportunity without help. Please help me have more than 18 years with my father.
