I am Roni's younger brother, Brian Antonroy. We are urgently looking for a kidney match for my brother. Blood type is not relevant to this match unless you have existing diagnosis of diabetes.

I'd like to share an inspiring story with you all on behalf of Roni. Roni's life has been a testament to the power of determination, faith, and the incredible strength of the human spirit.

Roni's life story begins with an incredible feat: At just one month old, he underwent open heart transplant surgery. This procedure is a life-saving operation where a new heart is transplanted to replace a damaged one. At such a young age, Roni overcame the odds and completed a safe transplant surgery thanks to all the doctors involved at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. The odds were stacked against him, but Roni emerged from this ordeal with a fighting spirit and a new lease on life, all by the grace of God.

As if facing a heart transplant at such a young age wasn't enough, Roni's indomitable spirit was put to the test once again at the age of 7 when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer. Lymphoma affects the lymphatic system, and it was a battle that he took on with unwavering bravery. With courage, resilience, and unwavering faith, he defeated cancer.

Through all the ups and downs, Roni has shown us what it means to face adversity head-on. He has stared down the most formidable challenges life has thrown at him and emerged victorious each time. His story is a testament to the power of the human spirit, the strength of faith, and the importance of resilience.

From the time he was a young child, Roni held a deep fascination with law enforcement and a burning desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others through the field of policing. His dream to become a police officer was not just an aspiration; it was a calling, that would define his path in life.

In October 2017, Roni's dream took a significant step closer to reality when he became a member of the York Regional Police Auxiliary. This role allowed him to actively contribute to his community while gaining valuable experience and knowledge in law enforcement. As an Auxiliary Constable with the York Regional Police, he displayed dedication, commitment, and a strong sense of duty in every aspect of his service.

However, as Roni's dreams were finally turning into reality as he was preparing to attend Police Academy this Winter, life had other plans. In July 2023, he found himself battling a severe and unexpected health crisis. After extensive tests and treatments, doctors delivered the heart-wrenching news that Roni was in the end stage of kidney failure. This devastating diagnosis placed Roni's dreams on hold. His immediate focus shifted to his health and well-being, and he is now preparing to undergo dialysis, a necessary procedure while he awaits for a kidney match. His temporary pause from pursuing his career in law enforcement is a testament to his unwavering determination to overcome any obstacle in his path and to motivate others to follow their dreams no matter what stands in their way.

As Roni embarks on this new phase of his journey, battling kidney failure, he needs our support.
