Dear All,
My beloved friends and community in Roscoe, Montana, are homeless due to a devastating flood on Sunday and need our support and encouragement. As residents sit in shock and continue to help out those who are stranded, I would like us to donate what we can to help heal their shattered hearts. It would mean the world to me as this town is heaven on earth, and its residents are angels. They put their hearts and souls into this sweet town. Thank you for your generosity of Spirit.
Sincerely,
Danielle Mourning
(Below is a letter from my dear friend and resident of Roscoe)

"Hello Everyone,

Early on Sunday morning, June 12th, the East Rosebud River, which runs through our community, began to rise exponentially. All residents worked together to quickly fill sandbags to raise the banks in the most dangerous areas. We were soon joined by
friends from surrounding areas, people passing through and even vacationers who had been eating at the Grizzly Bar. It was incredible and deeply encouraging to see everyone working together.

The water continued to rise to unprecedented levels, and despite all the tremendous effort we put in over many hours, massive trees whose roots were loosened by the flood began crashing into the river and relentlessly ramming into our two bridges. They both gave way, and waves came flowing over all of the walls and, with time, completely flooding our town.

Our seventeen residents were forced to evacuate and leave our homes behind. The town is currently inaccessible, and the extent of the damage is as of yet unknown. We are a very tight-knit community of friends, devastated and heartbroken to see this level of destruction in our beloved town.

Any help you can give is deeply appreciated. We will allocate your donations within the community according to the highest needs. There are a few among us who have lost everything.

Thank you so much,

Caroline Joan Peixoto"
