Rudin Family House Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
The day before we celebrate our nation’s independence, when we are typically enjoying the summer with friends, backyard barbecues, swimming and fireworks, Dave and Marcy watched, in horror, as their house burned down.
Thankfully everyone is safe, but all that remains are the clothes on their backs. Literally.
Dave and Marcy have been a pillar in their community. Dave started and pastors a church in nearby Algonquin where they make it their mission to share hope and add value to people’s lives.
They have cared for some of the most vulnerable in their community by providing meals and other items for the homeless and hurting, caring for children, partnering with schools, serving with the founder’s day family olympics, and impacting their neighborhood and community.
Dave is also a business leader, coach and consultant furthering his impact as part of the John Maxwell team to add value to local businesses and business leaders.
Marcy works in the community school district, leads women’s events for their church and serves in a variety of other ways through their church.
They have 3 beautiful children who were not home at the time of the fire and have nothing to come home to.
They have nothing but the cars they were driving and clothes they had with them.
All items with sentimental value, pictures, computers full of memories are lost.
We mourn with them and ask you to give whatever you can to show your support and love to this wonderful family who has given so much of their lives to others.
