Russell Needs Our Help KICK Cancer

We all know and love this smiling face. Russell and Michelle are well known in the Grand Junction/Fruita communities for their volunteerism and involvement in causes. He is the happy hippy with a Peace and Love mantra and practices this on a daily basis. Now he needs our love and help.
Several weeks ago during a routine colonoscopy, a small tumor was discovered in Russell's colon. He has undergone a CT scan and MRI since that time at St. Mary's in Grand Junction to determine a course of action.
He needs another CT scan to pinpoint the location of this tumor and then will start a radiation treatment program for 5 weeks with simultaneous oral chemo. No actual treatment has started, but the bills are piling up. Co-pay on the second CT scan alone is $1750.
Thankfully, his employer is working with him, setting him up to work from home on days he is unable to make the long drive to work. Russ's insurance has a maximum out of pocket annually of $12,700. It is looking like he will hit that out of pocket total in both 2015 and 2016. In addition to the worry about his health, the stress surrounding the financial burdens are not conducive to healing.
We (his sisters-in-law, Ann Ellis & Cindy Baldwin) are asking for your help in several ways. First, he needs your prayers for healing mercies, or your spiritual blessings.
