COVID-19 Response Project

We need your help!
We are researching the production of the open source ‘ApolloBVM’ Bag ventilators, inspired by MIT and developed by Rice University. Many of the parts are manufactured in San Diego by our volunteers using a CNC Laser Cutter or 3D Printers. The remaining parts are purchased from the web. We use OSHA standards in our work environments. You can make a difference by making a tax deductible donation or volunteering your time or equipment.

About Us
We are the COVID-19 Response Project

Who we are.
The San Diego Collaborative Arts Project (SDCAP) is a 501c3 coordinating a distributed local network of skills and resources. We have united to create targeted products in response to unprecedented demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are the COVID Response Project.

How we operate.
Our focus is to support marginalized or underserved communities that may otherwise go without resources. By facilitating a concerted effort with other local movements we efficiently share resources with minimal duplication or wasted effort or materials. We are the COVID Response Project.

Get involved.
Let us know how you can help! If you have 3D printers, CNC lasers or the know-how to use them, volunteer. We’re also looking for capable volunteers to help manage the effort and triage local needs. You can also be involved by donating to the cause. We are the COVID Response Project.
