Your monetary donation provides incredible opportunity in a young adult's life, helping them actualize their dream of breaking into the exciting world of live event production.

If you are unfamiliar with our work, CLEMCO is a collective of passionate and uplifting business entities who are intentionally educating a diverse pool of talented audio-visual professionals. We create robust systems to support them throughout their entire career.

Participants of our SH101 course will begin their training at the stagehand level but will be exposed to multiple career opportunities within the event production space. This course gives them a start on their journey while showing them just how far they can go in this industry.

More importantly, participants will learn lifestyle management skills needed to become successful freelancers, independent contractors, entrepreneurs, or small business owners in any field.

The highlight of this four-day course is an immersive experience through our partnership with Tampa’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Foundation. Students will gain invaluable hands-on experience in setting up and assisting audio-visual technicians during an actual gala event. They will unload and prepare gear, assist in show setup, support our technicians during the gala, and help dismantle or ‘strike’ the space post-event.

This live experience offers an authentic glimpse into "a day in the life" of event production, truly embodying the phrase "living the dream". Fueled by an intensive and personalized curriculum taught by industry-leading professionals, this course is meant to fast-track individuals interested in this career.

The best part? We’re offering The Stagehand 101 Leadership Academy course to fifteen students at no cost to them. They benefit from an entirely FREE experience learning and using the latest audio-visual tools, techniques, and training materials.

At the end of SH101, students will complete a three-part assessment allowing them to earn the title of CLEMCO Certified Stagehand. This will give them a huge advantage in the industry and the opportunity to begin immediately booking events and earning income.

This Leadership Academy initiative has been 7 years in the making, but it pulls from over 75 years of combined industry-related experience. Now with your help, we’re empowering the next generation of live event production professionals and helping them live their dream.
