We are thrilled to announce the Second Edition of the SHE-EDE Program, Portugal – Italy | 2024 – 2025 Building Dreams Reconnecting With the Spirit of the Land.

Join us as we embark on a journey to embrace Matriarchal Values and reconnect with the profound wisdom of women in our modular program spanning over 2 years. Our program consists of 8-week modules set in the captivating landscapes of Italy and Portugal.

Take action to support the revival of female wisdom on our planet and within our communities. Young women who learn with us carry this wisdom forward, enabling us to gently disseminate invaluable sacred knowledge and tools around the world.

Dear readers,

->> This fundraising will subsidize the expenses for the courses we are planning in 2024/2025 SHE-EDE, between Portugal Italy, at her 2nd edition. This means supporting the expenses of conducting the course, costs of room and board, offering REALLY MOTIVATED participants lower registration cost percentages to facilitate their participation.

The SHE-EDE program aims to focus on the theme of: Building Dreams Reconnecting with the Spirit of the Land. It follows the seasonal rhythms of Mother Earth's Cycles of Life, Matriarchal Wisdom, and is designed with methods of such as Work That Reconnects and Gaia Education. The last offers the award-winning Ecovillage Design Education program for holistic learning for Sustainable Development. Gaia Education and Work That Reconnects aim to empower students around the world to see the interconnections of life by learning to design sustainable communities, restoring the balance of our Planet in the urgent transition to a more regenerative future, reversing the climate crisis.

Modern Matriarchal Studies opens our eyes to a new ecological and egalitarian way of living.

Activist Joanna Macy's words serve as a foundation and come to us as an inspiration:

"When we connect with others in solidarity, we can act together for peace, for healthy food and clean water, for schools, or for economic justice. This gives us self-respect, because actions nourish us like good food."

SHE-EDE COURSE STRUCTURE

It is an in-person course, and the format is designed to be a cycle of four separate weeks spread out over the year 2024 and repeated in 2025. Each week corresponds to one of the four dimensions (ecological,cultural, social, and economic) of the educational wheel of Gaia Education.

The course will take place in two different locations in Europe, in the village Covão do Feto, in Alcanena, Portugal; and in Narni, in the Umbrian region of Italy. It will be led by a group of women facilitatresses who are passionate about the topics covered and come from different fields of education.

English will be the official language although all facilitatresses speak many other languages, so having a high language level is not required.

At the end of the course, participants will be awarded with the Gaia Education Certificate, provided they have attended all 4 weeks by completing the dimensions (social, economic, ecological and cultural). To facilitate the possibility of attending all weeks, we have scheduled 4 more weeks in 2025. So 4 weeks (2 in Italy and 2 in Portugal) are scheduled in both 2024 and 2025.

Below you can find the calendar, where the locations and dates are specified of each individual dimension's week. You will find the schedule of planned activities on PROGRAM.

This is a course open to all, minimum 18 years old and no age limit, interested in experiencing the regeneration of the Planet in all its aspects.

Ladina Moana Demarmels: "I don't know if you had this enlightenment or deep understanding as I did after Sabina's presentation (I just had it now in this course) making me finally realize that all these features in this poem are telling us to believe in patriarchy to keep us small!!! What the medicine woman is telling us is to see our value again, to reclaim it!!!

We've been belittled all our lives, little by little, but it's always been there like a cloud gathering over us, we can feel this layer of shame and guilt and worthlessness. When I realized this in the speech I thought <fuck! my whole life is a lie, and I believed it>; this prayer of the medicine woman is what empowerment sounds like, it's what reclaiming stopping and believing that we are not worthy sounds like!!! if we really believe it we can break free from the chains of the patriarchy that has indoctrinated us!!! I am so sick of it. thank you for sharing this with us, as you can see, this has been really exciting for me and I am happy to have finally understood and grateful to share this journey with all of you. I am so happy for the strong and intelligent teachers here!!! I share everything I've learned in SHE-EDE with everyone I meet. It makes me feel very good because it seems like people are really interested in what's going on but they need some awakening, like what happened to me.

- the promotion of equity and justice and to the improvement of social cohesion;

- gender equality;

- the enhancement of cultures that have been able to preserve and develop the resources of their environment.

Since 2022 , with the arrival of new Presidentess Sabina Santovetti, the Association has also begun to work with the ecological educational tools of Gaia Education , Modern Matriarchal Studies, the Work that Reconnects, Transition Town Movement , Schumacher College and others, thus creating courses on Women's Empowerment and Communities that respect the Environment, Nature , Mother Earth in its complexity, systematicity, cyclicality and wholeness.

Unisciti a noi in questo viaggio per abbracciare i valori matriarcali e riconnetterti con la profonda saggezza delle donne nel nostro programma diviso per 4 moduli, ognuno programmato in un settimana nelle quattra stagioni dell'anno.

->> Con questa raccolta fondi, verranno sovvenzionati i corsi SHE_EDE, che abbiamo in programma nel 2024 e nel 2025, tra il Portogallo e l'Italia, alla 2° edizione. Il programma SHE-EDE vuole incentrarsi sul tema di: Costruiamo sogni Riconnettendoci con lo Spirito della Terra, segue i ritmi stagionali dei Cicli di Vita di Madre Terra, della Saggezza Matriarcale, ed è progettato seguendo i metodi del Work That Reconnects e di Gaia Education. Quest'ultimo offre il programma Ecovillage Design Education, premiato per l'apprendimento olistico per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile. Gaia Education e Work That Reconnects mirano a mettere in grado le/gli studentesse/studenti di tutto il mondo di vedere le interconnessioni della vita imparando a progettare comunità sostenibili, ripristinando l'equilibrio del nostro Pianeta nell'urgente transizione verso un futuro più rigenerativo, invertendo la crisi climatica.

Gli Studi Matriarcali Moderni ci aprono gli occhi su un nuovo stile di vita ecologico ed egualitario.

Le parole dell'attivista Joanna Macy fungono da fondamenta e sono di forte ispirazione:

“Quando ci colleghiamo con gli altri in solidarietà, possiamo agire insieme per la pace, per un cibo sano e per l'acqua pulita, per la scuola, o per la giustizia economica. Questo ci dà rispetto per noi stessi, perché le azioni ci nutrono come buon cibo.”

STRUTTURA DEL CORSO SHE-EDE

E’ un corso che si terrà in presenza, il format è progettato per essere un ciclo di 4 settimane separate, spalmate durante l'anno 2024. Ogni settimana corrisponde a una delle quattro dimensioni della ruota educativa (ecologica,culturale, sociale, ed economica) di Gaia Education.

Il corso avrà luogo in due diverse località in Europa, nel villaggio Covão do Feto, ad Alcanena, in Portogallo; e a Narni, nella regione umbra, in Italia. Sarà guidato da un gruppo di facilitatrici appassionate dei temi trattati, provenienti da diversi campi di istruzione.

L'inglese sarà la lingua ufficiale anche se tutte le facilitatrici parlano molte altre lingue, per cui non è richiesto avere un alto livello linguistico.

A fine corso le/i partecipanti otterranno il Certificato di Gaia Education, a condizione che abbiano frequentato tutte e 4 le settimane completando le dimensioni (sociale, economica, ecologica e culturale). Per facilitare la possibilità di frequentare tutte le settimane, abbiamo programmato altre 4 settimane nel 2025. Quindi sono programmate 4 settimane (2 in Italia e 2 in Portogallo) sia nel 2024 che nel 2025.

Di seguito potete trovare il calendario, dove vengono specificati i luoghi e le date, e su ogni singola settimana a cui viene dedicata una delle dimensioni di Gaia Education, troverai il programma delle attività previste.

CALENDARIO DEL CORSO SHE-EDE

Si tratta di un corso aperto a tutte/i, per un minimo di 18 anni e senza limiti di età, interessate/i a sperimentare la rigenerazione del Pianeta in tutti i suoi aspetti.

Niina Ollanketo: “Vorrei davvero condividere con altre persone le cose che ho imparato, ma mi è ancora difficile esprimere tutto questo a parole, è stato tutto così grande!

Sento davvero come abbiamo scavato insieme nella terra, piantando semi e purificando molto il corpo. Ora sento fortemente le nostre radici in rete che si toccano e si sostengono a vicenda, sostenendo la nostra crescita in questo mondo. E’ stato bellissimo e sono così grata di sentirvi tutte nella mia schiena per andare avanti.”

Ladina Moana Demarmels: "Non so se avete avuto questa illuminazione o comprensione profonda come l'ho avuta io dopo la presentazione di Sabina (l'ho avuta solo ora in questo corso), facendomi finalmente capire che tutti questi tratti in questa poesia ci dicono di credere nel patriarcato per tenerci piccole!!! Quello che la donna medicina ci dice è di vedere di nuovo il nostro valore, e di reclamarlo!!!

Siamo state sminuite per tutta la vita, a poco a poco, ma è sempre stato lì come una nuvola che si è accumulata su di noi, possiamo sentire questo strato di vergogna e di colpa e di mancanza di valore. Quando ho capito questo nel discorso, ho pensato "cacchio! tutta la mia vita è una bugia, e io ci ho creduto"; questa preghiera della donna medicina è ciò che sembra l'empowerment, è ciò che suona il reclamare e smettere di credere che non siamo degne!!! Se ci crediamo veramente possiamo liberarci dalle catene del patriarcato che ci ha indottrinato!!! Sono così stufa. Come si puoi vedere, è stato davvero emozionante per me e sono felice di aver finalmente capito, e grata di condividere questo viaggio con tutte voi.

Sono così felice per le forti e intelligenti insegnanti qui presenti!!! Condivido tutto quello che ho imparato nello SHE-EDE con tutti quelli che incontro, mi fa sentire molto bene perché sembra che le persone siano davvero interessate a quello che sta succedendo ma hanno bisogno di un po' di risveglio, come è successo a me.

Sono entusiasta della verità e della giustizia. Condividi quello che hai imparato con le persone, il mondo può usare la tua voce!!!".

Dal 2022 , con l’arrivo della nuova Presidentessa Sabina Santovetti, l’Associazione ha anche cominciato a lavorare con gli strumenti educativi ecologici di: Gaia Education, Studi Moderni Matriarcali, il Work that Reconnects, Transition Town Movement, Schumacher College e altri, creando corsi sull’Empowerment Femminile e delle Comunità che rispettano l’Ambiente, la Natura, Madre Terra nella sua complessità, sistematicità, ciclicità ed interezza.
