SHORTY NEEDS IMMEDIATE SURGERY!!!!!!
Donation protected
On December 13, My Daughter, Shorty Mcfierce, didn’t eat her breakfast & fainted. I rushed her to the vet where they did bloodwork & transferred her to the ER, where she stayed for two full days. They had to do a blood transfusion as her red blood cells were extremely low. They took x-rays, an ultrasound, fluids, etc. (Please refer to ER Report)
The doctor diagnosed her with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia, A Heart enlargement which was seen on radiographs, and a Tumor in her Spleen.
The doctor explained to me that normally IMHA is diagnosed in much younger patients, and seeing that she’s 12 yrs old, the low red blood cell count might
be due from the tumor in her spleen.
The original plan was to take her to an internal medicine specialist and cardiologist before surgery, but Shorty’s current status has taken a turn for the worst, so they need to do an IMMEDIATE SURGERY TOMORROW DEC. 19th taking out her Spleen.
This is the only chance we have right now at saving her life and I really could use your help.
Shorty Mcfierce is my soulmate. I rescued her 12 yrs ago, when she was found with a sign on her that said please take me. Little did I know, that she would be the one Rescuing me. In my twelve years of having Shorty, I’ve had some of the worst traumatizing life experiences happen to me, and Shorty has literally saved me through all of them. Not only has she been my rock, but she has saved many other lives( humans & animals) bringing so much life, love, and happiness that has made many people smile. If it wasn’t for shorty, I wouldn’t have come across 14 animals that started my journey to rescuing other dogs and cats. She not only guided me to them, but she welcomed them into our home , so we could foster & find them new homes.
I can’t imagine life without her. She truly is my guardian angel and I will do whatever it takes to save her life, so she can have a happy and healthy dog life, for as many more years that I am blessed to have her.
I dont like to ask anyone for help for anything, but I cant do this alone and really need your help. The doctors, and I see she’s fighting to live and If there is anyway you can find it in your heart to help, any and every donation will go to Shorty, nothing is too small, sharing with your friends and family, on social media, spreading the word, hiring me for work , buying items that I will be selling on my stories later today, every gesture will truly be a blessing to Shorty and I.
I will send more updates as they come in and thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Happy Holidays!
