SIRI'S STORY & NEEDS

SIRI'S STORY...Siri was born in Thailand. As a two month infant, she experienced a traumatic brain injury. As a result, Siri is blind, has severe cerebral palsy and global developmental delays. A foster mom took great care of her until our family adopted her six years ago.

Adopting her into our family has been one of the greatest blessings and challenges in our lives.   

SIRI'S NEEDS...Twice a year our family travels from Tennessee to New Jersey for Siri's brain therapy. This is only one of her many medical expenses every year. Our insurance helps, but we pay thousands of dollars out of pocket each year. We are grateful Siri is getting bigger (and heavier); however, we need a handicap-friendly vehicle to transport her around.  

Both of us work and have applied for Siri's disability, but she has been denied. We are committed to Siri's long term health and appreciate everyone who wants to help! It takes a village. Thanks for being part of our tribe!
