SOQS Endowment Challenge

Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show™ (SOQS) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and promote the art, skill, heritage, and education of traditional and contemporary quilts and fiber arts and to benefit the school and community groups of Sisters and Central Oregon.

We accomplish our mission  through a series of annual events, most notably the largest outdoor Quilt Show in the world held on the second Saturday of July. In 1975 founder, Jean Wells Keenan, hung a dozen quilts made by her students outside her quilt shop. Each year, a few more folks brought their quilts to show;  in 2015 we displayed more than 2050 quilts.  During the past 10 years SOQS has donated an average of $18,000 back to school and community groups in Sisters and Central Oregon. 

In July 2015, generous donors have created a 40th Anniversary Endowment Challenge Fund.  They will match, dollar for dollar, every donation made to SOQS Endowment Fund up to $50,000 in the next 12 months.

Your contribution will help seed the SOQS Endowment Fund. Your gift will benefit the short and long term financial sustainability goals for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.
