Sadie Strong

Sadie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February 2023 when she was 5 years old. In the first 30 days of treatment the goal is to rid their body of all Leukemia cells putting them in remission. Sadie didn’t hit remission at 30 days putting her on a more aggressive treatment plan, which meant much more trips to the hospital and more rounds of chemo. While there have been some extremely hard days, Sadie has been a total warrior throughout the whole experience. She has continued to be her sassy and sweet self and most nurses refer to her as a “firecracker” with all her spunk. She just turned 6 in September and Oct 24th is her last treatment before entering maintenance. She’ll begin doing treatments once every 3 months for the next 2 years and hopefully by year 5 she will be declared cancer free!
