Can you help us create safer venues right across Rossendale?
We all know everyone deserves to feel safe, and sometimes we might just all need somewhere we can pop in, charge a phone, use a phone and know who to call to get the help we need.
Safer Rossendale is being set up to support everyone.
We have all been, or know someone who has been in situations where support is needed instantly...
We have all been, or know someone who has been in situations where support is needed instantly...
- Walking to meet someone and your phone goes flat, and you need to charge it to let others know you're safe
- Wanting somewhere to wait, whilst a crowd disperses
- Needing to make an emergency phone call, knowing you are somewhere safe
We have received a £500 grant and matching that would allow us to have 100 venues across Rossendale, which would be an amazing start.
Each donation will pay for a venue pack, that includes: phone chargers, easy read contact sheets and window stickers.
Your donation will create safe spaces in every part of the valley.
