Sam's Medical Fund After Stroke

One morning in December I unexpectedly woke up feeling confused, weak, dizzy, and nauseous and in excruciating  pain in my head. After being transported to a couple of local hospitals I would later find out that, at 20 years old, I suffered a medullary stroke as a result of a clot in my vertebral artery. The stroke initially impaired a great deal of my coordination and mobility as part of what is called Lateral Medullary Syndrome. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks, one of which included intensive rehabilitation, in addition to a slew of medical tests (MRIs, CT scans, blood work, etc) that have persisted to now to uncover the culprit of the clot.

Although, I have made remarkable recovery since the initial stroke I am still facing debilitating debt from hospital bills that I cannot pay -- I do not want the difficulty of my recovery process and my return as a third year student at college in this new state after having suffered a stroke to be further exacerbated by the inability to pay off my bills.  I would be beyond grateful and thankful for any help offered.
