2013 World Triathlon Championship-London

Our son, Adam, has qualified to compete in the 2013 Age Group World Triathlon Championships in London, England, September 10-September 17, 2013. Adam will compete on Sunday, September 15 in the Olympic Distance event. He will swim 1500 meters (.93 mile), bike 40 kilometers (24 miles) and run 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) in and around Hyde Park.
The expense of this opportunity is staggering. We would love to be able to make this a week-long family adventure. We plan to stay in a family hostel within walking distance of the event venue. We need your help funding this amazing opportunity! If, and when, we reach our goal, we will get Adam officially registered, book flights and make reservations at a hostel.
We are also open to donations of frequent flier miles for flights. Virgin Atlantic Airlines offers a bicycle to travel for free! This is a big selling point for a triathlete.
