Fat Bike Singletrack Groomer for Sandpoint
Tax deductible
The Pend Oreille Pedalers of Sandpoint, Idaho exists to protect and expand trail access for recreational use in an environmentally and socially responsible manner and to serve as an advocacy resource for bicyclists.
This winter the club is planning to build and maintain winter singletrack for fat biking enthusiasts in Sandpoint's community forest, Pine Street Woods.
This campaign's goal is to raise funds to acquire a SnowDog fat bike singletrack groomer. The Pedalers will collaborate with the Sandpoint Nordic Club and Kaniksu Land Trust, which manages Pine Street Woods, to build and maintain a network of winter singletrack for any and all fat bikers to enjoy.
The club has already received a generous donation towards this effort; the purpose of this campaign is to raise the remaining funds to purchase a groomer. Your donation counts as a vote towards your support for biking opportunities in the Sandpoint community.
Watch Sandpoint's own Scott Rulander's short film below to see the SnowDog singletrack groomer in action in some cold New England powder snow.
This stand-up groomer is designed to groom the single track narrow trails. It is made from 0.08 stainless steel and powder painted. Groomer is 20.47`/52cm wide, and may be extended to 34`/86 cm with two removable side panels. Being easy to use and reliable, it turns SnowDog into the best grooming machine for fat tire biking!
