Sandy Casey's Funeral Expenses

As many of you have heard, we tragically lost Sandy Casey in the horrible mass shooting in Las Vegas. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, fiancé, school teacher, and friend. We have started this Go Fund Me page in efforts to support her family financially during this tragic time. In addition, Sandy loved her family more than anything. She adored and was actively involved with her four nieces and nephews lives Dallas, 14. Sierra, 13. Cayson, 6. Lexi, 3. Owen, 5 months. Kaiden, 5. Emma, 5. Arieana, 7. In her honor, additional funds will be used to set up a scholarship fund for each of them. Thank you SO much for your support!
Sandy's dedication to her students was one of the her greatest attributes as an educator. Every student that walked through her classroom door was showered with motivational quotes, like " Today is a Good Day for a Good Day" and "Mistakes are proof that you are Trying." Sandy set the tone to inspire her students to feel creative, supported, safe and important. A daily occurrence of #VermontJokes which her students and staff affectionately referred to them as, included "give him butter, he's on a roll" or her sweet voice saying "pumkin" here and there when she meant business. Sandy was an amazing teacher that has left an everlasting impact on her students.
Sandy had the ability to make every friend feel like the most valuable. special and important person on the planet. No one in her life could doubt her unconditional love for them. Her sense of humor, often times corny was so infectious you couldn't help but laugh out loud. Sandy's deep love for country music was obvious, however when she discovered 50 cent on a run, she was so proud to share her new found appreciation for rap! She advocated for her friends when they didn't see their own strengths and she never let you feel alone in whatever you were going through, whether overjoyed or deep sadness. In our sadness, we have comfort in knowing that we had the opportunity to call her our friend and we will be forever grateful for her. We have lost an amazing friend. Her light will continue to shine in all of us.
