50k run & 100k mountain bike ride for Santa Elena

On the 20th June, I will run 50km, in my local woods (on a hilly route), 5km out & backs!
Meanwhile, Juju will take on an epic mountain bike challenge taking in 100km of mountain tracks and trails with 2500m+ ascent (all within the new 20km radius).
We are teaming up to help raise funds for the people of Santa Elena.My uncle Des is the parish priest in the diocese of Santa Elena, a small provience in the West of Ecuador. He is 80 & on the frontline every day.
His village is being devastated by the Corona Virus. Families have been hit with illness and death but because of lock down and no government aid, they have very little food as they can't fish (their main sustenance) or work for it.
Hunger is a real issue now.
Their medical centre is low on supplies and they have no funding. The problem is that the health system in Guayaquil just collapsed which meant the poor had no recourse when they were infected. The result was that thousands died and thousands were buried in plastic bags and in common graves.
I know we are fighting this pandemic here too. We have a little more security knowing our government are looking after us, we have food supplies and because of the early action taken, we will get to return to work and hopefully be with our families soon.
For these people, it's a very different story. A little will go a very long way and all money raised will go directly to help them. Any little help would be great, even to share this with others.
