Flint Kids Christmas
Donation protected
Hi everyone. I'm Mari, a 12-year-old kid from Flint, Michigan. Most people know me as Little Miss Flint.
I have been a clean water activist and philanthropist since I was 8 years old. I am known to pull off some pretty amazing events for the kids in Flint, Michigan. Like the huge party that I threw for my 11th birthday last year including giving out over 600 bikes to the kids of Flint, or being able to get backpacks filled with school supplies to every school in Flint.
The past couple of years I have been doing a pretty large Christmas event for the kids of Flint. This year I want to adopt an entire school. There are 340 students in grades kindergarten to eighth grade at the school I want to adopt. A large majority of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch and most are considered coming from low-income families. I want to be able to give them a Christmas surprise and to start off their Christmas break right.
Funds raised here will go help to pay for toys, games, and activities for this Christmas event.
Some of the stuff I have planned.
-Toy Shop (toys and games for all the age groups in the school)
-Stuff Your Own Stocking (stocking and stocking stuffers)
-Santa and Mrs. Clause
-Elf Adoption Station (kids can adopt a stuffed elf)
-Cookie Decorating Station
-Hot Cocoa Bar
-Card Making Station
-Arts and Crafts
-Inflatables
-Live DJ
-Snacks
-School Supply Station
-Free Book Fair
-Cold-Weather Gear Giveaway
Plus even more.
