Hello, I am Dr. Khaled, a Palestinian from Gaza, l live in Rafah and working as a volunteer doctor at Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, in the emergency department, since the beginning of the war on Gaza. I work 24 hours a day and night without rest and without any financial compensation.
I was living in the eastern area of Rafah, next to the Israeli border. My family lived there. This is a very dangerous area, where artillery shells are always falling randomly, until the evacuation order came from the Israeli army forces on May 6. 2024 and we were forced to evacuate our house. A few hours after it was evacuated, it was completely blown up and destroyed by Israeli warplanes.
My family was evacuated to Mawasi Khan Yunis. In the meantime, I received the shocking news that we should evacuate Abu Youssef al-Najjar Hospital. I'm still working as a volunteer emergency doctor in Rafah, helping the wounded and critically ill and all of this. For nothing in return for money, just volunteer for God.. Today I am forced to write to you with tears of loss, sadness, and the pain of separation, and with tears. My heart is sad that I have come to this. Please help me evacuate my family to the state of Egypt.. and I will remain in Gaza, as I cannot leave the wounded , as Gaza is in dire need. To me,,, but while I work, my mind always thinks about my family who are homeless in Mawasi Khan Yunis and do not have any of the necessities of life. • Evacuation fees is approximately 5000-10000 USD per adult person and 2500 for children. ( according to registration agency and waiting time ).
My family consists from 20 members.
