UERGENT Help for Arch.Hellana's family in Gaza!

My name is Hellana Atef Albess from the Gaza Strip. I'm currently displaced for the fourth time in one of Deir al-Balah’s tents. My family and I after our house were completely destroyed and a number of my relatives were killed.

, my father Atef spent forty years carrying mountains of hardship on his shoulders. We worked hard to build our humble home, stone by stone, until it came to the point that some of its members were destroyed by disease.

My father is a heart patient who needs surgery and constant care, but because of the war, the house was bombed above our heads, and we miraculously survived, and the rubble, in addition to the car that his taxi driver was working, became. It was a source of livelihood for my family

My sister Dania, who finished her studies with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and took a position in a private company, the company collapsed and she became unemployed.

My brother Muhammad, who graduated from engineering and held a position in the world of freelancers, but he completely stopped working, and lost most of his clients, due to the destruction of the laptop he was working on, the power outage, and the lack of Internet in the sector

Also, my brother Ahmed, He is still completing his bachelor’s studies in the sister country of Morocco.

Since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza, we have not been able to send money for his studies and living there because we no longer have a source of income.

And Mahmoud, who is in the process of determining his future, the high school stage, which he was about to finish but was unable to do because of the aggression

Currently, we are left without a home, without shelter, and without any source of income for me and my family members.

I recently graduated from the University of Palestine with a Bachelor of Architecture, with distinction in my graduation project. I combined art, drawing, and engineering, as I had models and an exhibition of engineering works while I was an engineering student.

My works were of interest to viewers and clients, and I won several international awards, and one of these works received a patent. From my country.

I decided to continue with my greatest and simplest dream, which is to complete my postgraduate studies in my country, but my family’s financial circumstances did not enable me. I did not give up, as I decided to apply for scholarships outside my country.

After some difficulty, I obtained a master’s scholarship, the Polish government’s Nawa scholarship. I actually started my studies several days ago on Monday, February 19, 2024, and until this moment I have not been able to leave my country due to the coercive conditions of war that caused the obstacle of my inability to leave the Rafah land crossing, another. Allowed time for arrival 3/17/2024 After that, I lose my right to the scholarship that 10 outstanding students from Palestine receive each year, which does not allow postponement or application more than once.

My problem and obstacle currently are exiting the Rafah land crossing. I knocked on all doors and appealed to all embassies and concerned authorities, but no one looked at me with any mercy in pursuing my simplest dreams.

Therefore, we ask you to be kind to me and my family and save our lives, which are under the threat of death every moment, and what remains of our dreams, the dreams of which have been demolished even if they were not fulfilled

I appeal to every human being, every conscientious person, every supporter of education, the gifted, and the ambitious to help me reach the required amount as quickly as possible to complete the most basic of our stolen rights, and before the remaining few days pass and I lose my grant.
