Save the Lives of IDPs in Wag-Himra, Ethiopia!
Wag Himra is one of the administrative zones of Amhara region in Ethiopia. It is bordered with Tigray region and has been one of the frontlines of the war in Northern Ethiopia . As a result, many lives and livelihoods are lost. In addition, thousands have been fleeing their homes in search of safety and humanitarian needs. Currently, there are more than 88,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) hosted in Wag-Himra. Among them, 16697 are children, 4100 students, 3149 breastfeeding, 2724 elders, 1847 pregnant, and 370 persons with disabilities. The IDPs have urgent needs for food, water, shelter, and others. However, they did not receive adequate humanitarian responses. As a result, many of the IDPs are starving . Only less than 30% of the IDPs are in shelters . Even those in the shelters do not have adequate access to water, healthcare and other related services. This GoFundMe has been created to accept donations, which will be used to support these IDPs. የዋግ ኽምራ ዞን በአማራ ክልል የሚገኝ ሲሆን ከትግራይ ክልል ጋርም ይዋሰናል። ይህ አካባቢ ከሰሜን ኢትዮጵያው የጦርነት ቀጠናዎች መካክል አንዱ ነው። በመሆኑም በርካቶች ክቡር ህይዎታቸውን እና የኑሮ መሰረታቸውን አጥተዋል ። ከዚሁ በተጨማሪም ቁጥራቸው ክ 75 ሺ በላይ የሚሆኑ ኢትዮጵያውያን ወገኖቻችን ህይዎታቸውን ለመታደግ እና የእለት ጉርስ ፍለጋ ከቀያቸው ተፈናቅለው በዚሁ አካባቢ ይገኛሉ ። ክእነኝህ ተፈናቃዮች መካከልም 16697 ፃናት ፥ 4100 ተማሪዎች፥ 3149 እጥቢዎች፥ 2724 አዛውንቶች፥ 1847 ነብሰ-ጡሮች እና 370 የአካል ጉዳተኞች ናቸው። ተፈናቃዮቹ አስችኳይ የምግብ ፥ ውሃ ፥ መጠለያ እና መሰል ድጋፎች የሚያስፈልጋችው ቢሆንም እየተሰጠ ያለው የሰብዓዊ ዕርዳታ ግን በቂ አይደለም ። በመሆኑም በርካቶች እየተራቡ ነው ። መጠለያ ያገኙትም ከ30% በታች ብቻ ናቸው። በመጠለያ ላሉትም ቢሆን የውሃ ፥ የጤና እና መሰል አገልግሎቶች አቅርቦት እጅግ በጣም አነስተኛ ነው ። ይህ የጎፈንድሚ የተከፈተውም ለእነኝህ በዋግ ኽምራ ዞን ለሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ተፈናቃይ ወገኖቻችን ድጋፍ የሚውል ገንዘብ ለመሰብሰብ ነው። ለሚያደርጉት ድጋፍም ከልብ እናመሰግናለን።
ይህ ድጋፍ ለተፈናቃዮች የሚደርሰው በዋግ ልማት ማህበር (ዋልማ) በኩል ነው። ዋልማ አገር በቀል የበጎ አድራጎት ድርጅት ሲሆን በኢትዮጵያ የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ኤጀንሲ የተመዘገበ ነው (መ/ቁ 1855)። ተጨማሪ መረጃ ካስፈለገዎ እላይ በተዘረዘሩት ቁጥሮች ሊያገኙን ይችላሉ።
