Chris' Family & Shop Fund
Donation protected
Most of you know that Chris was recently hurt. He has a protruding disk at L4-L5 of his spine. Upon further examination from his physician it has been determined that this was most likely caused by years and years of Epilepsy episodes (Grand-Mal Seizures); the last of which being a week ago. Because Chris has epilepsy and this new back injury he is unable to work to support his family. In fact, he is unable to stand or walk without assistance. Chris' daughter is Autistic and his wife has Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Vein Insufficiency and Degenerative Osteoarthritis in her spine and knees, this leaves her unable to work as well.
Over the years Chris has given the costuming community some outstanding replica props. He has always tried to help his friends and fellow prop builders when he was able. Last year Chris and his family lost their house and had to move as well. Chris found various ways to fill some of his time by volunteering (when able) and give back to his community.
The doctors have said he is no longer able to do anything. He must be extremely careful to not worsen the injury to his back. He and his family are currently awaiting a decision on surgery. It is inevitable that he will be confined to bedrest for quite some time. We are asking for your help to keep our Shop and our home. We have no income at all and have a disabled child to care for. We have no way of paying our bills or buying food. Any donation you are able to make is more than appreciated.
Thank you
