Get Little Bee Life Saving Medical Care

Hi everyone,

Little Bee is a very special boy, who was found living under a house in Minnesota a year and a half ago. Caroline and I met his saviors in Wisconsin, and drove him back home in a car with no AC in the middle of summer, the three of us draped in wet towels to keep cool. He sat in my lap the whole 3 hours and has hardly left it since.

Bee has just been diagnosed with a rare lung infection called pyothorax. While he is immunocompromised, and that makes him more susceptible to infections like this, he is too vivacious even while sick to not be given a chance. He is being admitted to the hospital to have chest tubes inserted, which will be used to drain the fluid built up around his lungs, and pump him full of antibiotics. Without this intervention, we will lose our sweet boy at only 2.5 years old.

This procedure, and his previous ER visits this weekend while we awaited diagnosis will amount to at least $10,000 and we need help.

Thank you for any contribution to the chance of Little “The Ambassador” Bee getting better. He has more kibble to eat and more meows to mew, it is not his time yet.

Update 1/5: Little Bee is on hour 43 in the ICU. He is off oxygen and not only doing well, but has developed quite the fan club with his boisterous personality. He will need 2-3 more days with the chest tubes in and continued antibiotic infusions. Each day in the hospital is at least $2,000, and we continue to need help to keep him admitted. Your support has been overwhelming. We cannot thank you all enough.
