Preserve land and safety in Reeves Cove!

Hello, we are fighting to Save Reeves Cove, a special place in our Candler community. We aim to stop the Wilderness Ridge development that is proposed to strip a ridge-top and place 74 condos on it. The impact of ridge-top and steep-slope development is well known, there will be increased erosion, sediment clogging nearby streams and Enka Lake, and displacement of wildlife.

This is a beautiful track of land is a wildlife corridor, connected to Pisgah National Forest with its pristine streams and favorite hiking trails. The additional 148+ cars on this narrow, and dangerous, road bears too high of a cost when it comes to public safety and no plans for infrastructure improvements.

Your donation will go directly to our legal counsel and experts in traffic, geotechnical, and storm water to fight for our cause. We will also need funding to put on additional community fundraising events. Every bit helps!
