Save The Fraternity House

Donation protected
Over the years, the fraternity house  has become a source of affodable housing for community members, students attending North Carolina Central University and other surrounding institutions.

The Fraternity House has also served as a place for community meetings/events geared towards the improvement of Durham community and as a staging area for community service outreach initiatives including tutoring, mentoring, health awareness and community hunger relief projects.

The presence of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity House is an invaluable and vital part of the Durham community and its history.

The Delta Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma (Durham Alumni) is looking for financial help to restore the property in hopes of continuing to serve the needs of the community.

The Fraternity House and the Save the House Committee needs an influx of capital (in-kind donations) to perform needed repairs. Needed repairs include:

- replacing the roof
- repairing damaged plaster walls
- repairing outdated electrical wiring
- updating plumbing
- replacing windows
- repairing the foundation
- updating bathrooms and kitchen
- replacing flooring
- updating sewage/drainage lines

The Save the House Committee gladly welcomes donors of all sizes to participate. Monetary contributions or the willingness to provide goods/services in its place are welcome and encouraged.

Below are several funding levels that are geared to fit any budget.
