Elevation Roanoke to Uganda

Hello! My husband Alex and I are planning a Mission Trip to Kampala & Gulu, Uganda in June 2016. We are leading a group from Elevation Church in Roanoke, VA. We are partnering with a wondeful organiziation, and one of our church's Outreach Partners, Sports Outreach Institute.

Sports Outreach has multiple ministries in Uganda: from education for children in local schools and communities, to running soccer camps & clinics as means of connecting with the people, providing health & medical assistance & resources, to creating Women's Empowerment avenues, and teaching life skills & feeding assistance, Sports Outreach has done a fabulous job of meeting people where they are and using those gifts & passions as a means of forming a relationship with the people of Uganda & spreading the love of Christ in a very practical & real way.

Our team is excited to be a part of what Sports Outreach is doing in Uganda. We hope to use our gifts & take full advantage this once-in-a-lifetime oportunity to do as we are called to do & make disciples of all nations. We also fully expect to learn so much more than we could ever teach, and come home with a renewed perspective ready to continue this work here in our local communities.

Our fundraising efforts will make this call a reality. Your contribution is a way for you to reach people of Uganda, even if you cannot physically travel with us.
