Hi, my name is Lynne and I work with Mercy International Limited who have established 3 childrens villages for underprivileged and disadvantaged children in central and northern Thailand. The children are cared for in family style accommodation with a high focus on education and life skills.

Tom and Joy visited these 3 villages as part of a mission team from Axis Church in 2018 and have maintained a close association with the organisation offering much appreciated encouragement and support for volunteers and staff as well as the children. They have been faithfully sponsoring 3 sisters from the Khon Kaen village since that visit.

When Joy received her diagnosis she asked that, when her time came, a fundraising page be established to enable friends and family to support her dream of being able to raise funds to go towards the purchase of a mini bus to transport the children to school safely and is supported wholeheartedly by Tom and the family. This mini bus will assist with providing the education of many children in the years to come.
