The book, A Scottish Migration to Alexandria was written by me, Ellen Hamilton. It was first published in 2021 after 5 to 7 years of research and writing. During that time I also created a rough documentary video/film telling the story. When I found it hard to get funding and producers to create a film, I decided during the Covid years to complete the planned book. I sold A Scottish Migration at markets around Alexandria, Virginia.

In 2024 I reviewed the video that I put so much work into. All the graphics and motion graphics were self-produced. I saw that it was close to being finished. So I decided to complete the first half and show it on Patreon for anyone to see.
