BUILD AN ISLAMIC CENTER FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

We are purchasing 86,000 square feet or 2 acres of land for the Islamic Center in Alexandria, Virginia, with a total cost of $1.3 million. The down payment of $450,000 has been collected from the community fundraising programs. We need everyone’s support to raise the remaining $850,000.

This is not our project but Allah’s; as the messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Source: Sahih Al-Bukhari 450, Sahih Muslim 533)

Tens of thousands of Muslims live in the Washington dc metro area. Muslim organizations in the area produced a fantastic generation of proud Muslim kids. The current institutes cannot serve the growing demand of the Ethiopian Muslim community in DMV. Now, Selam foundation has signed a contract for 87,000 sq feet or 2 acres of land in the center of Alexandria. This is your property. You can shape the character of the next proud Muslim generation.

This property cost $1.3 million. We will need to cover $650,000 before December 5, 2022. The rest of the $650,000 will be paid in 5 years. We have $450,000 on our hands. We need your help to cover 200,000 immediately.
