We’re thrilled to announce that Alexa White, a passionate and talented 10-year-old tap dancer, has been selected to represent Team USA at the IDO Tap Dance World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic, this October 2025! Often referred to as the “Olympics of Dance” this prestigious competition hosts over 20 countries from around the world with Gold, Silver & Bronze medals awarded to the top routines over a number of age groups and categories.

Under the guidance of her dedicated choreographer, Miss Amanda from Sharon’s Studio of Dance & Music (Whippany, NJ) Alexa has grown into a strong, expressive, and confident performer. Her commitment and love for tap dancing have brought her this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—to perform on an international stage as part of the American Dance Collaborative, and make her dreams come true.

As exciting as this journey is, it also comes with significant expenses—including travel, lodging, training, costumes, and competition fees. Your donation, no matter the size, will help Alexa and her family cover the costs and allow her to focus on what she does best—dancing her heart out.
