Who we are:
Due to the Covid 19 outbreak, Senior Healthcare Solutions of Arizona, is stepping up to the plate to help in any way we can. We are an organization of senior healthcare providers here in Arizona based in Maricopa county. We are close to 3500 members and, for the past 5 years, we have been helping each other and others in the senior healthcare and assisted living community to better serve our clients, patients and residents.

Since COVID-19 patients will need a home to go to, we are raising money to cover everyone up with protective gear. We are looking for government and community help to STAND UP  and help cover everyone's face with a mask.

What we are facing:
The senior care community in Arizona has begun to see the need to provide housing and services for the elderly who have tested positive for Covid-19. Many of these seniors will not be able to transition home with family. They maybe asymptomatic or exhibiting mild symptoms while recovering from Covid-19 infection and require transition from various healthcare institutions to long term care facilities. We expect this need to grow significantly as Covid-19 case count in Arizona increases and our healthcare institutions require patients to transition in order to provide care for the more extreme Covid-19 cases.

The obvious problem is that the state has ordered that elderly who are Covid-19 positive need to  be placed in existing facilities, accommodating seniors whom are not positive, but are at high risk due to existing medical conditions and compromised immune systems.

There is simply no place for them to go where they can be quarantined and continue to receive assistance with activities of daily living and care for their other diagnosed conditions.

What we are doing:
We are thinking about supplies and personal protective equipment to ensure senior living staff are safely able to deliver care once residents begin placing in the facilities. All funding  will be utilized to provide Personal Protective Equipment and ensure the safety of staff providing care in the facilities.

How you can help:
We are fortunate that our organization has many resources to assist with many of the challenges senior healthcare and assisted living are facing. However, we as for help financially with the unseen costs that pertain to Personal Protective Equipment.

We are asking our community to assist us with financial contributions which will be utilized to prepare  and also procure Personal Protective Equipment needed to protect staff and residents.

No donation is too small. We are truly grateful for those that can contribute to this effort and help us meet this critical need for our seniors recovering from Covid-19 in Arizona.
