Senior hit & run victim Gumecindo Gonzalez

My name is Crystal. I’m fundraising for my best friend’s Grandpa. On Wednesday, 1/10/24, he was struck by a charcoal grey Nissan sedan (pics attached below) as he was walking home from the grocery store, crossing the street, one block away from home. The car continued on as if nothing happened.

Gumecindo is currently in ICU in critical condition, having multiple seizures a day. They are doing CT scans and EKG’s at least 3x a day. He is now connected to a ventilator and feeding tube. Since the accident he has not been conscious. Everyday is a battle of the unknown. We are asking the community for support and appreciate the community’s assistance. Let’s find the person responsible!
