Dear Friends and Family,

Life has a way of presenting challenges when we least expect them. Today, we reach out with heavy hearts but unyielding hope.

Our beloved father, Gaby Gabriel (Gabriel Castillo), at 71, is facing the battle of his life: stage 4 cancer. His entire life, he has dazzled us with his talent – from music to acting, singing, and voiceovers. He’s not just our father; he’s an artist who has brought joy, laughter, and soulful tunes to many. As an entertainer, his life was built on passion and the pursuit of artistry, often prioritizing his craft over financial stability. And while he’s given so much to the world through his performances, today he finds himself in need of a different kind of support.

As his children, our primary goal is to ensure that his days are filled with love, comfort, and as little stress as possible. We want him to focus solely on his health and recovery, without the burden of financial concerns or the thought of returning to work. Moreover, we wish for him to continue sharing his artistic gifts, in whatever capacity possible, for as long as he wishes.

This GoFundMe is a bridge – a means to ensure that while he navigates the complexities of medical decisions, the financial aspect isn’t an added weight on his shoulders. We know many of you have fond memories and special moments shared with our father, or have been touched by his performances. It’s in these moments of challenge that the power of community becomes evident.

While asking for help is new and somewhat uncomfortable for us, we’re doing it with our father’s best interest at heart. We believe in the generosity of the human spirit and the kindness that lies in every heart.
