Help Me Self Publish My First Book, Shadows of Mercy

I an Blind Press, owner of the Blind Press social media brand. With the encouragement of my amazing husband, I have taken the plundge back into writing and have created a rough draft of the first novel in what I'm planning to make a series. I plan to use the pen-name of Lisa Eriksyn, hence the cover photo you see.

I'm aiming to raise $10000 to cover the cost of paying a professional editor to help me smooth out the kinks, design a cover, pay to produce the book for Audible, and in braille,set up and maintain a shopify store, and the other costs surrounding self publishing. I think the idea for this series is a fresh one for the thriller genre and can't wait for you to read it!

I am using this platform instead of a platform like Indygogo or kickstarter because this one is more accessible for my screen reader, as I am totally blind. I will update you regularily on the editing process, show you exerpts from edited chapters and give out discounts for the finished product to large donors.
