Shady Creek Summer Camp Scholarship

At Shady Creek Summer Camp, campers from first through eighth grade will adventure, connect, and cultivate. You can visit our website for more information about the goals and outcomes of our program.
At its greatest, summer camp is a transformative, life-changing experience for a child. At the very least, it is an entertaining and stimulating way for a child to engage with nature and socialize with other kids. Either way, summer camp is an opportunity that we at Shady Creek want all families to be able to access, which is why we’ve made such an effort to keep our camp tuition affordable. This summer, tuition for five days of day camp is one hundred sixty dollars and five days of resident camp is four hundred fifty dollars.
All kids benefit and grow from summer camp experiences, but only some can afford it. We have heard the desire in families’ voices in their inquiries about scholarship opportunities. Local Nevada County families and those across the other Northern California counties we serve are careful enough with their funds—something like a summer camp is a far-flung luxury.
Your donation will give us the opportunity to give out more scholarships to families who want their children to have this experience. The campers and their families that come to Shady Creek Summer Camp on scholarships will enrich our camp community and, we're certain, help spread gratitude in other areas of their lives.
