Unexpected Death of Father of 3

It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my Brother Jeremy Shane Dozier lost his life to PTSD on the morning of January 29, 2022! Those that knew Shane understand the pain and suffering he has been in since his accident in the military that caused him to be 100% disabled. His body had been in constant pain over the years, and it finally broke his mind. Veterans with PTSD struggle to adapt to life outside the military. They believe that no one can help them and think that if you haven’t been where they are, how can you understand. I watched his pain for the last 25 years get worse and worse. So much he had neck surgery, two knees replaced, and needed his neck done again along with his shoulder. He can rest now pain-free from his mortal body!

 

I pray for the broken men and women of this world struggling with PTSD. I pray that they understand that counseling is not a sign of weakness, and just because someone hasn’t been through what they have been through doesn’t mean that they don’t have the tools to help you!

 

With all of the emotional pain and stress that this brings, it also brings financial burdens. We want to help alleviate some of the financial hardship for his wife, Kim Dozier and their three children, Dalton, Hunter, and Rayelyn.
