Medical need: Dental implants for mother of two!

Hi, my name is Matt.

I am trying to raise funds to pay for a medical/dental procedure for the mother of two beautiful children. Her name is Shannon, she is a hardworking and strong single mother who is in desperate need. She was recently hospitalized with a facial infection. After being discharged from the hospital she made an appointment with a dentist.  The infection is from a tooth that broke off some years ago, that has now started to eat a hole in her jaw causing periodontal disease. If this is left untreated it will cause permanent facial deformities and eventually the infection will spread and become fatal. She has a prior heart condition that she has had since she was a child so I fear of what can happen if she doesn't get this fixed.

Titanium dental implants are needed. They are the only option to restore her to full health and stop the spread and deterioration of bone. She has visited multiple specialists in this field, and they all agree on the treatment needed.  The treatment is of medical necessity not elective. Even though that is the case it is not covered by Massachusetts health/dental insurance. So, she is left to pay for this completely out of pocket. The total cost of treatment for her entire mouth is $59,000. Which is a tremendous amount of money. I am trying to raise $20,000, which is still a lot of money, for the cost to get her upper mouth treated which is the most vital to be fixed immediately. The Dr. told her that if she eats an apple or anything similar, she is in danger of it pulling the teeth out of the top of her mouth.
