#SAYHERNAME – Sharmel Edwards.

On April 21, 2012 my mother, Sharmel Edwards was gunned down by five Las Vegas Metro officers. But fast forward to a few months prior to her passing, her and my auntie planned an all inclusive trip to the Caribbean for her 50th birthday. Not to mention it was her dream to the travel to the islands. Unfortunately her time was cut short when those officers abused their authorities leading to her death. As the 10 year anniversary of her passing is coming up in 2022, my family wants to put her ashes in the Caribbean Sea for her 60th birthday so she can finally be laid peacefully to rest. My sister and I picked out a beautiful seashell urn that hasn’t been able to be taken out of the box because it is biodegradable. All we want to do is give her the beautiful ceremony she that deserves and a memory that will last with my family forever. Thank you ❤️ God bless
