Sharon's Support Squad

I am writing to tell you about my sweet friend Sharon Schwartz, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Sharon is one of the kindest, most compassionate and genuinely unassuming people that you could ever meet. She is a incredible mother, wife and friend to everyone around her.

A few weeks ago, Sharon went in for a routine hernia repair, and they found a mass in her small bowel. It was removed, but ultimately proved to be cancerous. She has a very rare form of cancer called, adenocarcinoma of the small bowel. They were able to remove the mass, but some of the cancer "seeded" out into her pelvis. As a result Sharon is going to have to have six months of weekly chemotherapy treatments. This is going to be a marathon, not a sprint.

Living in this small knit community, numerous people have reached out and are wondering how they can help Sharon, Keith and their kids. Although we don't know much, one thing that we know for sure is that with this diagnosis, they are going to endure many more added expenses. So we've decided to start this fund for the Schwartz family. We are hoping that this will help alleviate some of the financial burden and added stress they will be facing.

Sharon has a long road to recovery ahead of her but she is incredibly strong and resilient! Something that should come as no surprise to you all, is that Sharon is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, Philadelphia Eagles fans of all time. Like the Eagles, Sharon is a fighter, and with the love and support of all of us, we know that she is going to beat this!
