Sheri's Open Heart Surgery

Sheri Johnston Michetti is my step daughter in Arizona (Larry's youngest daughter). A couple of weeks ago, she went in for a routine CT scan of the abdomen, a simple followup from a previous surgery, or so we thought. Thanks to the discerning eye of the radiologist, a tumor was identified in her heart.
Here we are 2 consultations and many tests later and that tumor has been identified as a myxoma tumor in the left atrium, on the septum, the wall of the heart that separates the two sides - and it will need to come out. If not removed, there is a risk of it breaking free and causing other major and possibly fatal health issues.
Sheri is scheduled for open heart surgery on Monday, June 22nd. She is so grateful for the love and support of family and friends that have rallied around her, but as you can imagine, the financial impact of this surgery will be staggering.
Your help is needed. During surgery and recovery there will be no income for this single mom. Somehow she will still need to meet the monthly living expenses for her and her son and their home. Friends and family are doing as much as they can, but more help is needed.
So, we are asking for any assistance you can offer to meet this need as she goes through this difficult surgery and recovery. Every little bit will help and is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
