Slowsumption crowdfunding

Hello everyone!

We are excited to announce the launch of our crowdfunding initiative at CEMUS - The Centre for Environment and Development Studies at Uppsala University. Our project, “Slowsumption,” aims to promote a low-consumption lifestyle and support sustainability-driven initiatives.

How? We are collecting donations in order to fund projects related to sustainability from the course "Project Management and Communication" at Uppsala University. The different projects that we support and promote cover water waste, sustainable cities and communities goals, etc. Our goal right now is to raise 10 000 SEK, for the initiatives you can see in the video above.

We are also here to guide those who have been looking for ways to live more sustainably but feel overwhelmed by where to start. Our project will provide practical steps to help individuals reduce their consumption and make informed choices that benefit the environment. In a world increasingly dominated by consumerism, we believe that a shift towards mindful consumption is essential for a sustainable future.

We invite you to follow our progress as we share insights and showcase projects that stem from the CEMUS classroom on our social media and our website.
